Christianna McAfee is a pre-law undergraduate at the University of Texas at Austin, where she is concurrently pursuing a B.S. in Communication and Leadership, a B.A. in African and African Diaspora Studies, and a B.A. in Government. A business owner and strategist, she is the founder of Christianna McAfee Consulting, where she helps leaders and organizations develop brand systems, internal infrastructure, and strategic communications with clarity and intention.
She currently serves as the Ad-Hoc Officer for the Black Student Alliance and the returning President of the United Black Collegiate Association, a nonprofit created in response to the elimination of DEI structures at UT Austin. Christianna continues to serve as the Lead Outreach Coordinator for UT’s Department of African and African Diaspora Studies, where she helps increase student engagement and departmental visibility.
In the Texas House of Representatives, Christianna holds two distinct roles: one as a Legislative Aide, supporting office operations and constituent services, and another as a Digital Strategist, where she builds communications systems, policy messaging, and visual content for legislative and public platforms.
A member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Christianna will serve as Second Vice President and Social Action Chair for her chapter in the upcoming term, leading campus advocacy efforts, organizing legislative engagement, and promoting social justice education within and beyond the organization. She is also a member of the Friar Society, the oldest honor society at UT Austin, recognizing her leadership and academic excellence.
Previously, Christianna served as Vice Chair of the Big XII Council on Black Student Government and as the Freshman Action Team Co-Chair for BSA. She has helped transition multiple student organizations into sustainable nonprofit structures and authored award-winning strategic plans.

She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Beaumont United High School in 2022 and made history as the first African American crowned Queen of the Neches River Festival. She has been featured in The Daily Texan, Beaumont Enterprise, KFDM News, and The Drag Audio’s Forsaken podcast for her advocacy, organizing, and leadership.
Born in Port Arthur and raised in Beaumont, Christianna embraces her Cajun heritage through crawfish boils, Black history documentaries, and learning languages tied to Black diasporic communities like American Sign Language and Haitian Creole.
